Experienced Temporary QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer at Khatabook, your role will involve ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our mobile and API products. You will be an integral part of the product lifecycle, from understanding features to identifying bugs and ensuring smooth releases. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute test cases for mobile applications (Android/iOS) and APIs. - Perform functional, UI, regression, and negative testing for end-to-end product flows, such as testing app behavior under different network conditions (throttling, offline). - Analyze crash logs, performance issues, and app compatibility across devices and OS versions. Qualifications Required: - 3-4 years of experience in manual QA testing for mobile and API. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC. - Experience testing mobile apps on Android/iOS platforms. - Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, Charles Proxy, ADB, Android Studio, Appium, Selenium, and Rest-Assured. - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, mock servers, or API automation. - Understanding of performance testing and app instrumentation. - Ability to write simple code in Java/Python for small automation tasks.
