Senior Officer/Senior Engineer (MG4) - Application Engineering PG Department - Research & Development Business Unit - Khadki

BOM Release Ownership: Manage, structure, and execute the end-to-end release of Engineering Bills of Materials (EBOM) for Genset systems and sub-assemblies in PTC Windchill. Validation & Quality Control: Validate BOM completeness, part attributes, and configuration rules before final release to prevent downstream manufacturing errors. Change Management: Initiate, track, and execute Engineering Change Notices/Orders (ECN/ECO) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR) within Windchill. PLM Expertise: Advanced, hands-on experience with PTC Windchill (BOM management, Change Management workflows, and CAD data management). CAD Tools: Proficiency in mainstream 3D CAD software (e.g., Creo Parametric, SolidWorks, or Unigraphics NX) with a strong focus on Sheet Metal modules. Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Generator Sets (Gensets), structural components, or heavy machinery packaging. Manufacturing Knowledge: Strong grasp of sheet metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, bending, punching, welding) and surface treatment finishes.

Standards: Good understanding of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and tolerance stack-up analysis. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with Manufacturing (MBOM), Sourcing, and Quality teams to ensure data alignment and smooth ERP/SAP integration.
