Component Engineer

Check, verify and acquire written approval from the customer for BOM (bill of material). Register and maintain component information in CIS (component information system) and ERP systems by following standard rules; create cross-references between the customer and Kitron item number; prepare a component list and upload it into ERP. Handle PCN (Product Change Notification). Handle BOM changes and revisions in the ERP system (ECO - engineering change order). Suggest replacements for currently used components and if required initiate the tests for alternatives. Convey life cycle analysis (LCA) for BOM. Participate in projects across the organization and perform other relevant tasks delegated by management. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Electronics or a closely related field (12+3 years of education). Intermediate knowledge of electronic components. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
