We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Lead Developer with strong hands-on expertise in SFRA , backend integrations , and eCommerce architecture . The role involves leading technical development, ensuring high-quality code delivery, guiding the team through Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and supporting smooth coordination across product, QA, and business stakeholders. Job Title: SFCC Full Stack Technical Lead Job Summary We are seeking an experienced SFCC Full Stack Technical Lead to drive end-to-end technical delivery of Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both SFCC backend (Controllers, Models, ISML, Jobs, OCAPI, SCAPI) and Frontend (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SFRA,ReactJS, PWA KIT and etc) , along with hands-on experience in integrations, performance optimization, hybrid implementation, I/CD, and leading development teams . This role requires ownership of technical design, code quality, delivery planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Technical Leadership Lead and mentor a team of SFCC full stack developers. Own technical design decisions, architecture reviews, and code standards. Work closely with Client, Architects, QA, UX, and DevOps. Ensure adherence to best practices, governance, and security guidelines. 2. Full Stack Development (SFCC Backend & Frontend) Develop and maintain SFRA-based storefront features and backend services. Hands-on coding with Controllers, Pipelines (legacy), Scripts, Models, ISML, Services, and Jobs. Build and optimize frontend UI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PWA KIT and SFRA components. Implement custom cartridges and extend OOTB features. 3. API, Integration & Data Management Implement integrations using OCAPI, SCAPI, REST APIs, SOAP, and custom services . Integrate with external systems (OMS, ERP, PIM, CRM, Payment Gateway, Loyalty, Search engines). Knowledge of data migration, product/catalog/price/inventory management. 4. Deployment, Release & DevOps Manage multi-site SFCC deployments and code merges using Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions . Ensure CI/CD processes follow best practices. Coordinate sandbox management and release planning. 5. Performance, Security & Quality Optimize application speed, caching, ISML rendering, and backend performance. Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to development best practices. Support production triage, logging, monitoring, and root-cause analysis. 6. Documentation & Processes Prepare TDDs, integration documents, sequence diagrams, and deployment plans. Work with agile teams in sprint planning, grooming, estimation, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Experience Technical Skills 8-10 years of total experience , with 5+ years in Salesforce Commerce Cloud . Strong command of SFRA , Controllers, ISML, Pipelines, Jobs, Custom Objects, and Services. Expertise in JavaScript, Node.js basics, HTML, CSS, jQuery . Hands-on with OCAPI (Shop & Data), SCAPI, Web Services , REST/SOAP integration. Good understanding of Commerce Cloud Business Manager , site architecture, and configurations. Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure/GitHub) and version control tools (Git). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus. Knowledge of Headless Commerce , Composable Commerce , or React/Next.js is an added advantage. Atleast one implementation of PWAKit or headless project knowledge in the required skills Leadership & Delivery Skills Ability to lead and mentor development teams. Strong communication skills for customer interactions and technical discussions. Ability to estimate, plan, and deliver full stack solutions in Agile methodology. Experience handling multi-site, multi-locale SFCC implementations. Preferred Certifications Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification. Salesforce B2C Architect Certification (bonus). Scrum Master certification (added advantage). Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
