Role: Network Engineer- L2 Location: - Bangalore, IN (Hybrid) Duration: Offshore Long-Term Contract Job Description: Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled L2 Network Engineer with expertise in cloud environments and network support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Palo Alto technologies, including Prisma or Start cloud manager for network portal management, as well as strong fundamentals in routing, switching, and DNS management using Infoblox. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize Palo Alto Prisma for WAN and firewall configurations. Implement and support Meraki network infrastructure. Ensure seamless integration and support of cloud-based servers in Azure, GCP, and AWS. Collaborate with global teams in Bangalore, Waterloo, and Atlanta to support network operations and DNS management. Assist in transitioning workstations after spinning off from previous organization, resolving Microsoft-related issues. Configure and maintain DNS entries to facilitate cloud access for developers. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of experience in network engineering with exposure to cloud environments. Proficiency in Palo Alto Networks technologies (Prisma, Start cloud manager), Meraki, and Infoblox for DNS management. Strong understanding of routing, switching, and Layer 2 network configurations. Experience working with global teams and ability to support operations across multiple time zones. Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve network issues promptly. Preferred Skills: Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or equivalent. Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and their networking capabilities. Ability to adapt to evolving network technologies and business requirements.
