The Opportunity

KPIT Brasil is seeking a Automotive HIL Test Analyst (NI TestStand & LabVIEW) to support the verification and validation of embedded automotive software using NI-based Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) platforms.

In this role, you will develop automated test solutions, execute validation activities, and help ensure the quality and reliability of next-generation automotive systems. Working closely with software, systems, and validation teams, you'll play a key role in delivering robust solutions for global automotive programs.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze software requirements and develop test cases for embedded systems

Create and maintain automated test scripts using NI TestStand and NI LabVIEW

Execute manual and automated HIL testing

Investigate test failures and perform root cause analysis

Support validation of ECU software, firmware, and hardware interfaces

Develop and maintain test procedures, reports, and technical documentation

Participate in peer reviews and cross-functional engineering reviews

Maintain requirements traceability, defect tracking, and configuration management activities

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in embedded software testing or validation

  • Hands-on experience with NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand

  • Experience with manual and automated HIL test environments

  • Knowledge of embedded systems, firmware, bootloaders, and low-level drivers

  • Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, J1939, UDS, or XCP

  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues

  • Understanding of ECU interfaces, including Analog, Digital, PWM, and H-Bridge signals

  • Experience with test management and traceability tools such as PTC Integrity

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering , Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

  • Nice To Have

  • Automotive embedded systems experience

  • Experience with oscilloscopes, debuggers, DMMs, and function generators

  • Exposure to ASPICE or automotive software development processes

  • Experience working in globally distributed engineering teams
