About the role
As a ServiceNow Developer, your role involves developing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow applications and modules such as ITSM, SecOps, and IRM. You will be responsible for designing and implementing workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scripts. Additionally, you will build and maintain Service Catalog items and automation flows, as well as integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using APIs and REST/SOAP protocols. Your tasks will also include performing platform upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting. You will automate repetitive security operations tasks, support incident investigation and response workflows, and optimize automation use cases and orchestration pipelines. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. - 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow Development and SOAR/Security Automation. Technical Skills: - Solid hands-on experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and modules. - Experience with at least one SOAR platform: ServiceNow SecOps, Splunk SOAR, Cortex XSOAR, or IBM SOAR. - Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and web services integration. - Familiarity with SIEM tools like Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel. - Understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management. - Basic scripting knowledge in Python and PowerShell.
