Design, implement, and manage data protection and security controls across systems and applications. Monitor, detect, and respond to data security incidents and breaches . Conduct data classification, risk assessments, and vulnerability analysis . Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions . Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or relevant local regulations). Collaborate with IT, cloud, and application teams to secure databases, APIs, and data pipelines . Perform security audits, access reviews, and policy enforcement . Support encryption strategies for data at rest, in transit, and in use . Document and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident reports . Provide guidance on secure coding and data handling best practices . Gualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field . 4+ years of experience in data security / information security roles. Strong knowledge of: Data security concepts (encryption, masking, tokenization) Identity and Access Management (IAM) Network security fundamentals
Hands-on experience with: DLP tools (Symantec, McAfee, Microsoft Purview, etc.) SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel) Cloud platforms ( Azure, AWS, or GCP )
Familiarity with database security (SQL, NoSQL) . Experience with incident response and threat analysis . Understanding of compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
