Integration Engineer APIs & Webhooks

As an Integration Engineer specializing in APIs & Webhooks, you will be responsible for handling complex integration challenges and developing robust systems to connect products, platforms, and data at scale. Your primary focus will be on managing third-party integrations and contributing to the enhancement of our API platform. Key Responsibilities: - Work on Telematics & ELD API integrations such as Motive, Samsara, Geotab, Verizon Connect, and more - Implement multiple authentication patterns including OAuth 2.0, API keys, session tokens, and dual-credential systems - Perform incremental data synchronization using cursor/version-token feeds, scheduled jobs, and high-frequency upserts - Design and develop outbound REST API, with features like key management, rate limiting, and versioning - Build webhook delivery infrastructure with HMAC signatures, retries, and event fan-out - Develop data normalization systems to unify multiple provider schemas into a standardized data model Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 3 years of experience integrating third-party APIs in production environments - Proficiency in Node.js, with expertise in async programming, retries, and rate-limit handling - Deep understanding of OAuth 2.0, including authorization code flow, refresh tokens, and scopes - Experience in PostgreSQL schema design for high-volume data ingestion and time-series workloads - Ability to debug and troubleshoot under-documented APIs at the HTTP level Nice to Have: - Previous experience with telematics, ELD, or fleet management APIs - Familiarity with TMS integration (McLeod, Trimble, etc.) - Experience in designing and maintaining public APIs - Exposure to startup or high-growth environments If you are passionate about integrations, APIs, and constructing scalable systems that drive real-world operations, we encourage you to apply.
