Develop test program and analysis tools to conduct feasibility studies and establish critical system and subsystem-level performance parameters and constraints. Work in close coordination with mechanical, electrical and software teams to conduct module/ system level validations, define and document electromechanical interface parameters with application software. Model, test and analyze system and subsystem-level machine performance in high-speed, high accuracy semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Define and execute test standards to qualify systems and sub-systems to specifications for mass production. Perform root-cause analysis to understand, rectify and prevent issues during transition phase between Engineering and production and beyond as 2nd line of defense. Design simple dynamic structures and fixtures to assist with module and sub-system level proof of concept studies.
As an Engineer in Advanced Solutions Business Unit’s Mechanical Engineering Organization, this role will be working as a multi-disciplinary Engineer in Research & Development (R&D) department on advanced technology platforms for next generation high speed, high precision automated semiconductor assembly equipment.
