Network Security Engineer CCNA

We are seeking a skilled Network Security Engineer CCNA to join KVC Consultants Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for firewalls, including troubleshooting, configuration changes, and monitoring. Your strong understanding of security technologies like VPNs, NAT, and IPS, along with exposure to security tools, will be crucial in maintaining robust network security. Roles and Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive firewall administrative support , including troubleshooting, configuration changes, upgrades, compliance checks, monitoring, and regular backups. Apply a good understanding of various security technologies such as Site-to-Site VPN, SSL VPN, NAT (Network Address Translation), ACL (Access Control Lists), IPS (Intrusion Prevention Systems), and NGFW (Next-Generation Firewall) features. Utilize exposure to Security Tools like Algosec, FMC (Firepower Management Center), JSP (likely refers to Juniper Security Platform or a similar tool), and CSM (Cisco Security Manager or similar). Respond to security incidents and provide initial troubleshooting and resolution. Ensure network security configurations comply with organizational policies and industry best practices. Assist in implementing security measures to protect network infrastructure and data. Skills Requirement: Good exposure to and hands-on experience with firewall administration, troubleshooting, and configuration . Strong understanding of fundamental security technologies including VPNs (Site-to-Site, SSL), NAT, ACLs, and IPS. Familiarity with NGFW features . Exposure to security tools such as Algosec, FMC, JSP, and CSM is preferable. CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification is highly desirable, demonstrating foundational networking knowledge. Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing network and security issues. Attention to detail for compliance and configuration management. QUALIFICATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
