AWS Data Architect

As a Cloud Data Architect - AWS at Kyndryl, you will play a crucial role in designing and architecting AWS-based data platforms and Big Data ecosystems. Your responsibilities include: - Participating in the design of the technical and information architecture for the AWS Data Platform. - Designing and performing Proof of Concept (POC) as needed and developing the Data platform offering. - Demonstrating solid experience and knowledge in deploying AWS services and Data pipeline. - Optimizing and tuning based on performance metrics, setting up best practices, standards, patterns development, and automating processes for onboarding. - Coordinating with stakeholders to ensure the overall health and performance of the data platform. - Translating business questions and requirements into applications using appropriate reporting tools. - Monitoring system performance, reliability, availability, and recoverability of the Data platform. - Evaluating, selecting, testing, and optimizing Data platform configurations. - Applying sound fundamental design, analysis, and data administration concepts, practices, and procedures. Required Skills: - Strong architecture and design experience on AWS data platform and ecosystem. - Extensive hands-on experience implementing data migration and data processing using AWS services such as VPC/SG, EC2, S3, AutoScaling, CloudFormation, and more. - Strong experience in DevOps, DataOps, and Multi-cloud platforms. - Hands-on experience in Cloud Data Platform optimization and recommendations. - Implementing robust data pipelines using AWS data stack. - Experience in Big Data technologies and architecture. - End-to-end architecture experience including CI/CD, DevOps, Security, IAM, and Monitoring/Observability tools. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of various ML/DL applications and design patterns. - Working knowledge of creating reusable and scalable data pipelines. - DevOps and Agile Development processes. - 7 to 10 years of industry experience in client-facing architect/consultant roles.
