Who You Are Youre good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. Required Technical and Professional Expertise 5+ years of experience in Apache Web Server administration and support . Hands-on experience with IBM z/OS and OMVS (UNIX System Services). Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux operating systems, shell commands, and scripting. Experience in installing, configuring, upgrading, and maintaining Apache Web Servers. Understanding of SSL/TLS certificates, HTTPS configuration, and security hardening. Knowledge of zFS/HFS file systems, USS directories, and UNIX permissions. Experience troubleshooting web server, UNIX, and OMVS-related production incidents. Familiarity with software patching, upgrades, maintenance, and version compatibility management. Experience analyzing logs, performance bottlenecks, and system availability issues. Strong problem-solving, incident management, and root cause analysis (RCA) skills. Ability to create technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks. Preferred Technical and Professional Experience Experience with z/OS Connect, web services, and middleware technologies. Knowledge of RACF, ACF2, and enterprise security frameworks. Experience with Apache reverse proxy and load-balancing configurations. Shell scripting experience in UNIX/OMVS environments. Understanding of system monitoring and performance tuning methodologies. Exposure to DevOps, automation, and infrastructure management practices. Experience working in large-scale enterprise mainframe environments.
