Middleware Engineer Kafka (Bengaluru)

The Role The ideal candidate will administer, configure, and support Apache Kafka and IBM MQ environments, while supporting Cognos BI environments, including report execution, scheduling, and platform administration. You will monitor middleware platforms and ensure system availability, reliability, and performance, performing incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management activities. Responsibilities include supporting middleware upgrades, migration, and maintenance activities, alongside managing Kafka brokers, topics, consumer groups, and cluster configurations. Additionally, you will administer IBM MQ queue managers, channels, listeners, and messaging infrastructure, and collaborate with application and support teams to resolve integration and messaging issues. Finally, you will develop operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles for this Middleware Engineer Kafka IBM MQ with Cognos BI role.
