In this role as an Infrastructure Architect at Kyndryl, you will play a crucial part in bridging the gap between the company and its clients. You will be responsible for leading technical discussions and collaborations with stakeholders from clients, governance teams, project executives, delivery teams, and even vendors. Your involvement will start from the initiation of a project where you will analyze the requirements and propose the most suitable technical solutions. Your role will continue through the project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery within the allocated budget. As an Infrastructure Architect at Kyndryl, you will leverage your expertise and experience to provide technical leadership on various projects. You will act as a subject matter expert for the clients, consulting with them early on to understand their needs and requirements. Your responsibilities will include defining how Kyndryl can meet these requirements, designing optimal solutions, and leading the technical implementation process. You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of cloud platforms, enhancing your skills and knowledge while collaborating with other subject matter experts. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT architecture or consulting roles, with a focus on Azure for at least 3+ years. Your expertise should include strong knowledge in VMware modernization, Azure VMware Solution (AVS), vSphere, vSAN, NSX, application modernization, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and other Azure PaaS services. You should also have experience in designing and building Azure landing zones, cloud migration projects, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, Azure security services, and compliance frameworks. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively. Additionally, familiarity with containerization, hybrid cloud strategies, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipeline tools, and relevant Azure certifications are highly preferred.
