Network Security Administrator - L2

Role Overview: As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing and implementing cutting-edge network solutions within the Network Services team. Your responsibilities will include creating local and wide-area network solutions, troubleshooting network issues, coordinating with vendors, project implementation, and providing high-quality technical solutions to customers. You will have the opportunity to review project requirements, communicate effectively with the team, and ensure customer needs are met. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and manage branch side Switch - VLANs, VTP, and trunking - Ensure network availability, performance, and security - Troubleshoot branch WAN issues using tools like ping, traceroute, and SNMP - Provide L1 support for branch networks, resolving hardware and software issues for Network devices - Ensure branch network devices comply with customer security policies - Participate in network upgrades, migrations, and projects - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues - Identify and resolve network-related issues using logical troubleshooting methodologies - Analyze network logs, packet captures, and performance metrics - Escalate complex issues to senior engineers Qualifications Required: - Monitoring of Network links and devices like Routers and Switches - Good Understanding of Routing and Switching technology - Troubleshooting skills for Medium Complexity incidents - Configuration of routers and switches - Enterprise network maintenance - Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a 24/7 banking & finance Data Centre environment - Production experience deploying, configuring, troubleshooting and operational maintenance of large-scale Router, Switch deployments - Hands-on experience with various routers and switches including ASR 1000,1002,1006, Cisco ISR 4451 2900, 1900, Juniper MX series, Nexus series, Juniper QFX and EX series - Experience in configuration & troubleshooting of CE1 links and backup technologies for remote locations - Sound knowledge of MPLS deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting - Sound knowledge of IPSec VPN, GetVPN, and GRE tunnel configuration and troubleshooting - Sound knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing protocol implementation - Working knowledge in SD WAN - Working knowledge of various networking protocols and technologies - Mandatory Technical Certification: CCNA/CCNP/JNCIA/JNCIP or other industry-leading OEM Professional level Certification related to Routing and Switching Additional Company Details: Diversity is a core value at Kyndryl, where inclusivity and support are prioritized to create an equitable culture.
