About the role
Application Software Developer Location: Columbus OH Responsibilities Understand system specification for mobile domain projects. Participates in all phases of SDLC: from system analysis and design thru development and test to deployment and support. Develop comprehensive Test Strategy, Test Plan, test scenarios and test cases of complex systems and identify risks. Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers in requirements and design peer review sessions, contribute to documenting quality & testable requirements, provide feedback and gather clarifications in order to effectively prepare test strategy and ensure testability. Escalate issues & impacts and provide mitigation plan for testing strategy, quality, timeline, scope and/or resources. Ensure application documentation is complete and maintained/ updated in a timely fashion. Estimate sprint timelines for requirement gathering, system design and validation and release. Facilitate and convert business requirements for Matrix Medical Network in house healthcare IT applications into software solutions. Understand the current process and proposed process with detailed changes in the database tables, SSIS packages, and daily jobs for Intake, Outake, SDMT, and Multiproduct Eligibility. Involve in the Design review for Conversation Guides optimization, which generates list of members and stores in the CIM database for the purpose of Call Center application. The application is developed on JAVA 1.8 using jboss-servlet-api_3.0_spec, and WildFly10, combined together to provide the functionality required by the business to achieve their goals. Responsible for developing the BDD framework by using Cucumber and added Scenarios in features files and Step Definitions for Continuous integrations and delivery of the automation scripts used SVN for Intake and Outake. Discuss with SMEs to understand the business requirements and determine the feasibility of translating them into application functionalities in a cost-effective fashion. Requirements Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent. Implement best practices, coding guidelines, and software tools to management. Identify and reduce development risks, performance problems and downtime. Communicate both orally and in writing with business analysts, project managers, outside vendors on notifications and general inquiries. Advanced knowledge of object-oriented design and coding techniques. Minimum 3 years experience with JSP, Servlets, RDBMS Experience in cloud based solutions.
