About the role
We aren't automating scripts; we're deprecating the era of manual-heavy testing entirely. TestMu AI is building the world's first AI-native platform where agentic intelligence autonomously plans, authors, and self-heals the entire quality engineering lifecycle. This is a backend-first role. You'll spend most of your time building the real backend systems services, APIs, and distributed infrastructure that power an AI-native platform, and you'll own how they deploy, scale, and stay reliable. The Core Responsibilities For The Job Include The Following Backend Development (70%): Design and build scalable backend services and APIs (REST / gRPC) for AI and agentic workflows. Architect distributed, event-driven systems: microservices, queues, and async processing at scale. Model data well: schema design, indexing, query optimisation, transactions, and caching. Write clean, well-tested, high-performance software in Golang, Python, or Node.js . Own features end to end from design and trade-offs to correctness, performance, and reliability. Infrastructure and Deployment / DevOps (30%): Containerise and deploy your own services with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD. Operate in the cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP). You ship, monitor, and scale what you build. Own reliability: observability, alerting, and safe rollouts / rollbacks for your services. Requirements You must have 3-4 years of backend or software engineering experience. You must have strong programming skills in Golang, Python, or Node.js real software, not just scripts. You must have hands-on experience with distributed systems, microservices, and API design (REST / gRPC). You must have solid database skills: data modelling, query optimisation, SQL and NoSQL. You must have working DevOps depth in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and a cloud platform enough to deploy and operate your own services. This job was posted by Himanshii Tomer from TestMu AI.
