About the role
To lead Public Health Engineering (PHE) design activities, ensuring safe, sustainable, and compliant water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems integrated across building projects. SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES Lead design of internal and external water supply, sewerage, and drainage systems.Ensure compliance with NBC, IS codes, and local regulations.Review and approve design drawings, schematics, and hydraulic calculations.Coordinate with architectural, structural, and landscape teams for system interfaces.Conduct design optimization and value engineering reviews. Support site teams with design clarifications and inspection of installations. SECTION IV: KEY INTERACTIONS Internal Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction Site Execution Teams (MEP, Electrical, Civil) Planning, Procurement, QA/QC, and Stores Teams External Stakeholder Purpose of Interaction ELV System Vendors and Integrators Clients, Consultants, and PMC Teams SECTION V: KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE KNOWLEDGE Minimum Qualifications B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Telecommunication Engineering / Diploma holders with relevant experience may also be considered Language Skills English (Working Proficiency), Regional Language Preferred, Hindi Experience Years of Experience 1012 years Nature of Experience Experience in PHE system design, hydraulic modeling, and coordination for large-scale building or township projects. SECTION VI: TECHNICAL & LEADERSHIP / BEHAVIORAL SKILLS REQUIRED TO EXECUTE THE ROLE Skills Technical Skills Strong knowledge of ELV systems and relevant standards (NFPA, BIS, BICSI, TIA/EIA) Familiarity with integration of multi-system platforms (BMS, Fire Alarm, Security) Leadership / Behavioral Skills Team Leadership and Coordination Execution Planning and Problem Solving Communication and Negotiation .
