Senior 3D Modeller Civil & Structural

As a Senior 3D Modeller Civil & Structural, your role involves developing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality 3D models for civil and structural projects throughout various project stages. Your technical expertise, design coordination skills, and ability to guide junior modellers will be crucial in ensuring project standards and timelines are met. Key Responsibilities: - Develop accurate and detailed 3D models for various civil and structural components such as foundations, buildings, steel structures, roads, drainage, and infrastructure systems. - Prepare models in compliance with project specifications and relevant codes. - Generate construction drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, sections, and details based on the 3D models. - Conduct clash detection and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts. - Collaborate with design engineers, project managers, and construction teams to address design queries. - Support constructability reviews and value engineering exercises. - Update models as per design changes, Requests for Information (RFIs), and site inputs. - Assist in quantity extraction and material take-offs when necessary. Required Qualifications: - ITI Draughtsman (Civil) or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 1016 years of experience in civil and structural 3D modelling. - Proven experience on industrial, infrastructure, buildings, or large-scale EPC projects. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in E3D, Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Navisworks, or similar tools. - Strong knowledge of civil and structural detailing standards. - Experience in clash detection. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Soft Skills & Competencies: - Solid attention to detail and quality orientation. - Ability to mentor and guide junior team members. - Excellent coordination and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines. - Proactive problem-solving mindset. In this role, experience in EPC/PMC projects, exposure to construction sequencing, and working with international clients and multicultural teams would be considered as added advantages.
