Test Development & Validation Develop and implement test strategies for PCB and PCBA validation. Design test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria for new and existing products. Develop functional, environmental, and reliability test procedures. Support design verification and validation (DV/VT) testing. Test Equipment & Automation Design, build, and maintain test fixtures and test stations. Develop automated test solutions using LabVIEW, Python, or similar tools. Integrate test hardware including oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and DAQs. Improve test coverage and efficiency through automation and process improvements. Debugging & Failure Analysis Troubleshoot PCB and system-level failures down to component level. Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. Work closely with design engineers to resolve design and manufacturing issues. Support engineering change and continuous improvement initiatives. Compliance & Documentation Generate test reports, procedures, and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with aerospace and quality standards (AS9100, IPC, MIL-STD). Support qualification, certification, and audit activities. Maintain configuration control and traceability of test processes. Production & Cross-Functional Support Support manufacturing test processes and yield improvements. Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Design teams. Assist in transitioning products from prototype to production.
