As a Product Designer (AI) at InvoiceCloud, you play a crucial role in shaping intuitive, efficient, and trustworthy experiences across the InvoiceCloud platform. Your responsibilities include leading and participating in user research, collaborating closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads, and guiding solutions from early discovery through delivery. You will contribute to product strategy, design system evolution, and the creation of simple and reliable experiences within a complex fintech environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and shaping opportunities where AI can provide meaningful value to users. What You May Design: - Consumer payment and account management experiences - Tools and workflows used by billing teams - Communication and notification touchpoints - Administrative and configuration interfaces - Components and patterns within the design system - AI assisted interactions that streamline tasks or improve decision making Your work will range from simple self-service flows to complex operational workflows. Responsibilities: Design & Collaboration: - Partner with Product Managers and Tech Leads to define user problems, explore solution directions, and refine product requirements - Collaborate across disciplines to ensure shared understanding and alignment throughout the design process Research & Discovery: - Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and synthesis to shape insights and guide product decisions - Translate research findings into concepts, prototypes, and iterative improvements Interaction, Visual, and Systems Design: - Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final specifications that capture interaction logic, states, and edge cases - Contribute to the InvoiceCloud design system and apply consistent patterns across the platform - Work closely with engineering during delivery to support accurate, high-quality implementation AI First Experience Design: - Identify opportunities where AI can reduce friction or enhance workflows - Design AI supported interactions such as recommendations, summaries, guided steps, or intelligent validation - Ensure AI features support clarity, transparency, and user trust Craft & Communication: - Present design rationale clearly and participate in collaborative critiques - Balance user needs, business goals, technical constraints, and accessibility requirements Requirements: - Two or more years experience as a Product Designer or Interaction Designer in SaaS or a similarly complex product setting - Strong portfolio demonstrating research, interaction design, and visual craft - Proficiency in Figma and experience with component-driven design systems - Ability to design accessible experiences that meet WCAG standards - Comfort designing multi-state, logic-heavy, or data-rich workflows - Understanding of modern UI patterns and familiarity with designing AI-powered experiences - Education in HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Design, or equivalent practical experience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with fintech, payments, billing, CRM, or internal tooling - Experience conducting qualitative research independently - Experience in Agile environments - Strong communication and writing skills - Experience shaping or contributing to AI-assisted workflows InvoiceCloud is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and does not tolerate discrimination or harassment based on various characteristics.
