Applications Engineer

What you will be doing:
Provide technical support as part of the sales and applications team while maintaining strong customer relationships, both internal and external.
Communicate effectively with customer accounts using strong product knowledge and assist with commercial and pricing-related issues.
Provide technical assistance to OEM accounts in the development, maintenance, and servicing of machines.
Submit Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to support customer product or service changes.
Perform low-level engineering activities and application reviews on vehicles.
Evaluate applications in accordance with company Applications Acceptance Procedures.
Communicate technical issues, pricing requests, and new opportunities with Account Managers and Engineering leadership.
Maintain CRM data, submit trip reports, and provide account information to support forecasting and monthly summaries.
Schedule and conduct visits to OEM and manufacturing facilities as needed.
What you'll need to be successful

Essential:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or a minimum of 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong technical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret print schematics.

Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects and activities effectively.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Willingness to travel domestically up to 50% of the time.

Preferred:
-
Experience supporting OEM customer accounts.

Background working closely with sales, account management, or engineering teams in a customer-facing role.
