What you will be doing:

Serve as part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team, delivering software solutions that enable automated testing of the latest automotive infotainment and connectivity technologies.

Develop and maintain automated test scripts, a test framework, and test tools.

Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and test scripts.

Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the target under test.

Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing.

Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with the test management system and the defect tracking system.

Contribute to team deliverables through involvement in agile scrum development sprints.

What you'll need to be successful

• Essential:

• 3+ years of experience in Python development.

• Experience with automated testing environments and frameworks (e.g., Slash).

• Experience with continuous integration systems (e.g., Jenkins).

• Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem-solving in Python.

• Proficiency in Test Automation.

• Experience with .NET Framework.

• Preferred:

• Experience with REST APIs and interfacing with test case management systems (e.g., TestRail) and defect tracking systems (e.g., JIRA).

• Experience with databases (SQL).

• Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivated capabilities are key qualities.
