Position: Senior Backend Engineer/ Architect Experience: 6+ Years Notice Period: Can be considered up to 15 Days Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale robust backend systems and services. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building highperformance, secure, and scalable backend applications and APIs, and will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs Build and optimize RESTful / GraphQL APIs consumed by web and mobile applications Develop and maintain microservices-based architectures Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code following best engineering practices Participate in system design discussions and architecture decisions Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability Ensure backend systems are secure, fault-tolerant, and production-ready Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior developers when needed Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis Required Qualifications 6+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer / Software Engineer Strong proficiency in one or more backend languages: Java, Node.js, Python, or Go Strong experience with API development (REST preferred) Hands-on experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc. Experience with microservices architecture Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices Experience with version control systems (Git) Preferred Qualifications Experience with Docker and Kubernetes Exposure to event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of distributed systems and scalability patterns Prior experience working in product-based or SaaS environments Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Clear communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently and take ownership Comfortable working with distributed teams across locations
