About the role
You will be responsible for providing specialized and more complex support for the day-to-day management of the Lexitas IT Infrastructure systems, including networks, servers, data storage, backups, communications, and related areas. Your role will involve working with IT Operations to support user systems and applications in central administrative and office support activities for the entire company. You will also provide recommendations and advice to IT Leadership regarding Infrastructure and security matters, covering both on-prem and cloud Infrastructure. As a Systems Administrator, you will be a member of the administrative support team, responsible for training and assisting other support staff with network support. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure systems availability and reliability, including network, email, all systems servers, and backups - Maintain a secure environment through network security tools and settings, email security tools and settings, IDS/IDP tools and settings, AV solutions, and related items - Provide mentorship, skills transfer, and training to team members - Assist in the development of Policies and Procedures, change management, performance baselines, and security frameworks - Contribute to the development, testing, and implementation of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans - Safeguard confidentiality of medical records and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, including HIPAA regulations - Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft IT Infrastructure tools and systems, such as Active Directory, Exchange, Teams, Windows Server, Windows desktop OS, and related items - Possess expertise in computer networking and security, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-fi, VPN - Manage systems backup, data security, disaster recovery, virtual servers and systems, and data center operations - Have a strong knowledge of cloud-based solutions, such as MS Azure and AWS Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in computer science or a related field - Five or more years of advanced experience in systems administration - Experience working in a multi-function, multi-geography environment is preferred - Proven experience in designing, building, and managing end-to-end processes - Ability to complete complex projects with minimal to no supervision Please note that Lexitas is a multinational company that has established a subsidiary in Chennai, India, known as Lexitas India Pvt.
