About the role
You will be leading product development and strategy for large and/or complex data, analytics, technology, and software products. Applying Agile and Scrum methodologies in high-growth product areas will be a key part of your role. You will be directing the overall technical product strategy and collaborating with department heads to align with company goals. Managing and leading the product management team, as well as overseeing budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives, will also be your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Lead product development and strategy for large and/or complex data, analytics, technology, and software products - Apply Agile and Scrum methodologies in high-growth product areas - Direct the overall technical product strategy and collaborate with department heads to align with company goals - Manage and lead the product management team - Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for product initiatives Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in a technical related field (Engineering, CS) or equivalent work experience - 3-5 years of experience in a technical/engineering role and subject-matter expertise on the technology - 10+ years proven experience as a technical product manager - 5+ years of experience collaborating with and advising executive and senior leaders to set strategy, define products, and make tough decisions between time to market and features - 5+ years of product management experience delivering large-scale products - Strong project-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong technical experience and the ability to communicate and present complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - Excellent leadership and influencing skills and strong business judgement Please note that BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
