You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Windows services and applications, as well as building and supporting SDKs for ABB robots and other robotic platforms. You will implement automated testing to ensure software quality and have experience with cloud-based deployment using Microsoft Azure. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features, leading code reviews, and mentoring junior developers will be part of your role. Additionally, you will manage DevOps workflows, enforce source control best practices, estimate timelines, and effectively communicate risks and progress. Staying informed on emerging technologies and industry trends will also be essential. Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related engineering field. You should have 1-5 years of commercial software development experience and strong proficiency in WPF, ASP.Net/.Net Core, and Agile methodologies. Hands-on experience with Azure and cloud-based deployment, familiarity with robotics software and ABB robot SDKs, knowledge of design patterns, SOLID principles, and TDD, as well as experience with 3D graphics engines and strong mathematical and geometry skills are also necessary.
