Embedded Firmware Engineer (Assistant / Senior Level)

Linkwell Telesystems (VISIONTEK) is seeking passionate, hands-on Embedded Firmware Engineers across multiple experience levels (Assistant Engineer & Senior Engineer) to join our R&D team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for the end-to-end firmware development lifecycle, microcontroller bring-up, communication protocols, and hardware-level validation for cutting-edge electronics and smart energy metering products. About the Role: Experience Band: 2 to 7+ Years (Open for Mid-level & Senior profiles) Locations: Kushaiguda / Begumpet, Hyderabad ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ASSISTANT ENGINEER - FIRMWARE (2 to 4 Years Experience) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Develop, test, and debug firmware for 32-bit and 8-bit microcontroller-based designs. Interface wireless & wired communication modules (GSM/4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, NFC, GPS, etc.). Implement and configure core bus protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, USB). Perform hands-on board bring-up, debugging, and testing using Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Multimeters, and Soldering stations. Prepare datasheet observations, test summary reports, and support CMMI/ISO documentation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- SENIOR FIRMWARE ENGINEER (5 to 7+ Years Experience) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Drive full embedded software development lifecycle (SDLC) for energy meters and metering products. Write and optimize Embedded C and Assembly language for 32-bit microcontrollers. Develop, maintain, and test communication protocols such as DLMS/COSEM. Lead, mentor, and perform code reviews for a team of 35 engineers. Work on low-power architectures, battery-backed RTC circuits, and memory interfacing (EEPROM/Flash/ADC). Perform root-cause analysis on field/production issues and drive CMMI/ISO process compliance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Education: B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or Electrical Engineering (EEE). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- REQUIRED SKILLS: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Programming: Embedded C, C++, Assembly. Microcontrollers: Hands-on experience with STM32, PIC, ESP32, ATmega, or 32-bit ARM Cortex processors. Protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232/RS485, DLMS/COSEM (Bonus for Senior level). Hardware Tools: Multimeter, Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, LCR Meter, Function Generator, Soldering Iron.
