Oracle Ebs Technical Consultant

We are looking for a seasoned Oracle EBS Technical Consultant with strong expertise in RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) to support a complex Oracle EBS R12.2.x environment. The role will focus on L2/L3 defect analysis, production support, and integration troubleshooting across SCM and Finance modules. This is a hands-on technical role, requiring deep skills in PL/SQL, Oracle APIs, debugging, and working with functional teams to resolve incidents and defects in business-critical processes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in end-to-end technical architecture, performance diagnostics, and integration troubleshooting, with the ability to resolve complex issues across production and non-production environments. Key Responsibilities: • Provide L2/L3 technical support and defect resolution for custom RICEW components across SCM (Order Management, Inventory, Procurement, WMS) and Finance (AR, AP, GL, FA). • Troubleshoot and fix issues in: o Custom Reports (Oracle Reports, BI Publisher) o Custom Interfaces with 3PL, Retail, WMS, banking, and external systems o Conversions and data load processes (bulk inserts, validations, staging tables) o Extensions using PL/SQL packages, Forms Personalizations, OAF o Workflows for order processing, approvals, and notifications • Investigate data discrepancies, integration failures, and custom code bugs using PL/SQL, logs, and debug tools. • Analyze and resolve issues related to data integrity, duplicate records, stuck transactions, and incorrect postings across modules. • Maintain custom APIs, triggers, procedures, and views. • Monitor and improve performance of custom code through AWR/ASH analysis, SQL tuning, and indexing strategies. • Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business impact and translate into technical resolution steps. • Perform code corrections, unit testing, and deployment preparation for production-safe fixes. • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and develop reusable fix patterns or automation.
