You will be responsible for managing the team and coordinating various tasks related to component research, life cycle evaluation, and process improvement. Your key responsibilities will include: - Finding form-fit-function equivalents from PSL MFRs for active commodities and electro mechanicals - Comparing and maintaining customer AMLs - Providing support to designers in component research and life cycle evaluation - Participating in resolving process-related issues and conducting time study analysis - Initiating process improvements and providing training to new joiners - Assisting/handling site calls and queries, monitoring KPIs, and suggesting proactive actions - Maintaining process documentations - Supporting special projects and initiatives The experience we are seeking in potential candidates includes: - A B.E (ECE/EEE/E&I) graduate or equivalent education with relevant experience in the Manufacturing/Engineering industry, preferably in electronics - Good organization and technical communication skills for effectively conveying component end-of-life (EOL) notifications and part change notifications (PCN's) to Purchasing and Engineering teams - Familiarity with circuit design principles, board layout guidelines, identifying alternate parts, and manufacturers - Knowledge of design software such as OrCAD, CIS, Allegro (desirable) - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Effective team-building and delegation skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities - Good interpersonal and crucial conversation skills - A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training - Minimum of 5+ years of component engineering experience Please note that any additional details about the company were not included in the provided job description.
