ECMS Req # 518895, 518897 518899 Relevant and Total years’ of experience 8+ years exp in Cloud admin with 6+ years GCP Admin exp 8 + Years Cloud / BI admin with 5+ years Looker admin exp Detailed job description - Skill Set: 8+ years exp in Cloud admin with 6+ years GCP Admin exp Identity & Access Management (IAM) – Controlling user roles, permissions, and security policies to ensure only authorized users access specific resources. Resource Management – Organizing projects, billing accounts, and quotas within the GCP environment. Networking – Configuring Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs for secure connectivity. Compute & Storage Management – Managing virtual machines (VMs), Kubernetes clusters, databases, and cloud storage. Security & Compliance – Implementing security best practices, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Monitoring & Logging – Using tools like Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Cloud Audit Logs to track performance and troubleshoot issues. Automation & Optimization – Automating deployments, optimizing costs, and improving cloud performance using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cost management tools. Disaster Recovery & Backups – Setting up backup strategies, failover mechanisms, and disaster recovery plans. Able to work independently and good in communication and client interactions. 8 + Years Cloud / BI admin with 5+ years Looker admin exp User & Access Management Managing user roles, permissions, and authentication settings. Implementing security best practices, including SSO (Single Sign-On) and access control. Data & Model Management Setting up and maintaining LookML models to ensure accurate data representation. Managing database connections and ensuring smooth data integration. Performance Optimization Monitoring query performance and optimizing dashboards/reports. Implementing caching strategies to improve efficiency. Monitoring & Governance Ensuring data governance and compliance with organizational policies. Tracking usage metrics and ensuring efficient resource utilization. Looker Instance Maintenance Managing updates, patches, and version upgrades. Troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating with Looker support if needed.
