About the role
Provide On-Call 24/7 service and ready to work in shifts. Monitor functional parameters of databases, including DB-related file systems. Assure uninterrupted data replication flow and fix HVR problems. Perform maintenance and housekeeping tasks such as backups (unload, checkpoint), cleanup, database objects reorganization, and index management. Restore data from journal files as needed. Manage user, group, and access rights. Check database performance and react promptly to any issues. Audit the database upon customer request to track changes made by users. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related errors.
