Java Backend Developer

Java 11+, Spring, Spring Boot Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Scala Working knowledge on some of the AWS services like S3, lambda, step functions, glue, batch Proficiency in SQL and experience with database design Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Scala Experience with PySpark and Scala is a plus Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes Unit Testing eg JUnit, Groovy Microservices architecture Object-Oriented Programming principles Comfortable working with docker containers and container orchestrators such as Kubernetes and AWS EKS Writing clean, efficient, well-tested code Test-driven development is a bonus Developing and using Web services and RESTful APIs Good problem-solving abilities and ability to quickly learn a new technology and start working on that technology Basic knowledge of AWS Networking Familiarity with code repositories & source code control systems such as bitbucket, GIT Requirements Knowledge on building Observability and Monitoring dashboards on AWS using CloudWatch Run AWS Batch containers using Fargate/ECS AWS Postgres RDS, AWS Dynamodb & Oracle db Messaging systems such as Kafka API gateway platforms Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace
