About the role
JOB DESCRIPTION JOB TITLE: JIRA, Confluence & Crowd Administrator / Developer Responsible for the administration and support of JIRA / Confluence / Crowd instances across the European region. Provide custom development services. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Gain full application familiarisation especially client customizations and Support the current client base Communicate with client and keep them up to date with progress of support issue or action item. EDUCATION: · Degree in a Business or Computer related discipline. SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES: · Setup and configuration of JIRA / Confluence instance. Including creating and maintaining custom fields, workflows, schemas and managing JIRA projects and Confluence spaces. · Managing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring system performance and upgrades. · Manage JIRA / Confluence user accounts and permissions ensuring correct access. · Application upgrade experience in a multi-server (nodes) environment. · Migrating projects / spaces between different instance versions. · Troubleshoot and resolving issues. · Plugin vendor communication and issue resolution, including Atlassian support. · VOC (support ticket) management and resolution · Linux and windows skills · Proficient in Linux command-line interface (CLI) and shell scripting. · Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or KVM. · Maintain customization of JIRA / Confluence including apps and other system integrations. Source code management. · Applying and advising on company policy in relation to application. · Provide training sessions and answer user questions · Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) · Good documentation skills · Well presented, professional and dedicated · Good team player · Basic Database skills, query writing (MS SQL Server, Oracle) Skills Desirable: Not Essential · Programming skills (ASP.NET, JAVA or similar) · Front end skills (HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS) EXPERIENCE: · 5 – 10 years experience in a similar role preferably with in a large and challenging multi-national organization · Experienced in any system management (asp.net, java, php) development / operation
