Number of Openings 5 ECMS ID in sourcing stage 521954, 521947, 521946, 521943, 521942, 521954 Assignment Duration 1 Year Total Yrs. of Experience 5 to 8 Relevant Yrs. of experience 3 Year Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities) Job Description: Network Engineer (SD-WAN, Meraki/Silver Peak) Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Engineer with a strong focus on SD-WAN technologies, specifically Meraki and/or Silver Peak. This is a client-facing role requiring excellent communication and presentation skills, as you will be interacting with various client managers. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of network design, implementation, and troubleshooting, with a proven track record in enterprise environments. You will be responsible for creating detailed low-level designs, implementing complex network solutions, and ensuring optimal network performance and security. Responsibilities: SD-WAN Expertise: Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions using Meraki and/or Silver Peak platforms. Develop and maintain comprehensive SD-WAN architecture documentation. Configure and manage data and voice circuits (SD-WAN, MPLS, Internet, Broadband). Network Design and Implementation: Create detailed low-level designs (LLDs) for network and security infrastructure. Implement and configure Cisco/Aruba/Juniper networking equipment. Perform network segmentation using VLANs and vPC. Configure and manage routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and VRRP. Network Security: Manage network security infrastructure, including firewalls, proxies, web filters, ACLs, and network access control. Configure and manage firewall policies. Perform network security audits and vulnerability assessments. Network Operations and Maintenance: Monitor network appliance health, CPU, memory, and interface utilization. Troubleshoot network performance issues and resolve WAN/LAN connectivity problems. Perform VLAN/Port MACD and network appliance firmware/software upgrades. Perform network traffic analysis as needed. Remote Restarts of Component after Outage/Activities. Manage routing tables and IP addresses. Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), runbooks, and detailed implementation plans. Generate network health check monitoring and reporting. Client Interaction and Project Management: Act as a primary point of contact for client network-related issues. Coordinate with vendors for support and issue resolution. Assume ownership of assigned tasks/projects and drive them to completion. Work with overall Project management and timelines and communication. Work with Architecture Review Board and follow Change Management. Automation (Preferred): Implement and manage automated network device configurations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of [5 to 8] years of experience in network engineering. Strong hands-on experience with Cisco/Aruba/Juniper networking equipment. Extensive experience with SD-WAN technologies, specifically Meraki and/or Silver Peak. In-depth knowledge of Layer 2/3 technologies, routing protocols, and network security principles. Proven ability to create detailed network designs and implementation plans. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Meraki CMNA/ECMS, Silver Peak SD-WAN certifications) are highly desirable. Automation experience is a plus.
