About the role
Detailed JD Translating functional requirements into conceptual and detailed designs Providing estimates for development effort Implementing proof of concept, prototypes, and production-grade software Creating unit and functional test cases Automating deployment Assisting Operations and Support staff in trouble-shooting software issues, as well as implementing bug fixes Adhere to coding and process best practices Make regular contributions to engineering standards and best practices Drive quality improvement initiatives Required Experience/Skills: Requires five (5+) years of experience in software development. Experience must include: - Working knowledge of Oracle Database, C, C++, Java and Unix - Using Jira, Git, CI/CD methodologies for SDLC - Documenting design and standard operating procedures - Troubleshooting software issues and implementing bug fixes - Using PCM and PIN Macros - Using Shell, Perl or Python scripting for task automation - Oracle BRM software development using Flist programming - Developing Policy Opcodes and MTA applications - Developing custom Data Manager - Product configuration, real time Rating, Customer registration, Billing, Invoicing, Accounts Receivable, Payment, General Ledger and Collection - Performance tuning of BRM applications - Integrating BRM with other enterprise applications - Pricing Development Center, Customer Center, Developer Center, and Billing Care - Writing PL SQL and Stored Procedure - Demonstrated systematic structured problem-solving approach. Overall a BRM resource should have a strong technical background combined with business acumen and good communication skills to effectively work with the Oracle BRM system Some of the key skills that would be required for a BRM resource include Knowledge of Subscriptions and billing In depth understanding of Oracle BRM architecture and administration and be able to install configure and maintain the system Strong Linux and Programming and scripting language skills of C Java Perl and Shell scripting Strong database management skills including SQL query writing data modeling and performance tuning Analytical and problem solving skills Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders including business users developers and management to ensure successful BRM implementations and maintenance Expert knowledge of BRM modules of billing, pricing and discounting rating invoicing.
