9.00 - 10.00 Years 36.00 - 36.00 INR (Lacs)/Yearly Full-time Full-time Roles & Responsibility ServiceNow Administrator Job Description Roles, Responsibilities, and Requirements Job Overview A ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the ServiceNow platform. This role involves configuring and customizing the system to meet the needs of the organization, ensuring its smooth operation, and providing support to users. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of the ServiceNow framework, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments. Key Responsibilities System Configuration and Customization Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and processes to align with business requirements. Develop and implement new functionalities, enhancements, and integrations within the platform. Maintain and optimize the performance of the ServiceNow platform by managing system settings, updates, and patches. User Support and Training Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ServiceNow users, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. Conduct training sessions and create instructional materials to educate users on the platform s features and functionalities. Stay updated on new ServiceNow releases and features, and communicate relevant information to users and stakeholders. Data Management and Reporting Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ServiceNow platform by performing regular audits and reconciliations. Create and manage reports, dashboards, and analytics to support business decision-making and performance monitoring. Develop and maintain documentation for workflows, processes, and system configurations. Requirements Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience in administering and managing the ServiceNow platform. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is highly desirable. Technical Skills Proficiency in ServiceNow administration, including configuration, customization, and scripting. Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) concepts and practices. Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies. Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and integration techniques. Soft Skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Preferred Qualifications Experience with other ITSM tools and platforms. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Advanced ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Application Developer, Implementation Specialist) are a plus.
