SRE Engineer | Infosys

Your Role: We are looking for an experienced SRE engineer to join the IB Credit Risk IT group to As an SRE , you will need to drive deeper reliability to systems in production systems and help IT, support and development teams spend less time working on support escalations, and give them more time to build new features and services. Handling of critical issues, incident management, change management, monitoring, environment management and business continuity • Analyse, document and interrogate system issues from both business and technology perspective. • Suggest and drive forward resolution for system issues. • Continuously come up with new solutions and implement system improvements as well as automate manual work. • Partnership with stakeholders across various business and technology units including Product Controllers, Developers, Quality Analysts, Project Managers and Support Teams, to ensure successful delivery and onboarding of Technology projects. • Provide effective updates to the SRE//DevOps Manager of the group • Performing technical support fixes – development, script writing • Investigating Problems to find workarounds and root cause • Creating Known Error documents for Problems • Taking lifecycle ownership for Problems • Provide daily system monitoring, production issue troubleshooting, end user issue resolutions. • Support and configure production environments for the global infrastructure. • Provide release management for UAT and Production environments. • Work with other infrastructure team such as server team, network team, database team, and development teams on installation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. • Document support processes, releases, and troubleshooting guide in coordination with other team. • If needed, candidate must be ready to Provide Coverage during weekdays and weekends. Your Expertise: • 6+ yrs of programming on Oracle PLSQL or SQL experience. • Automation Experience using Python or any scripting language. • Unix admin knowledge is must. • Must be familiar with ITIL process. • Must have experience in ServiceNow. • Experience on Splunk tool or any Log Management tool. • Implementation experience with any Monitoring Solutions like AppDynamics or Datadog • Must have Exposure to the Gitlab. • Must have worked L2/L3 Application support or Infrastructure support experience. • Experience working with Docker containers and any (1) container orchestration solution OpenShift, open source Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service Some working experience on one of cloud Platform i.e. AWS ,GCP or Azure Platform. Azure exp. preferred.
