About the role
Job Summary : We are seeking experienced Windows System Administrators to join our global IT operations team This role is focused on supporting and maintaining Windowsbased infrastructure during the US night shift with a key responsibility for patch management and system maintenance during scheduled weekend windows. Key Responsibilities: Perform Windows Server patching and updates during designated maintenance windows including weekends Monitor system performance and availability during the shift responding to s and incidents as needed Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Server OS Active Directory and related infrastructure Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure seamless handovers and consistent system health Maintain documentation of patching activities incident resolutions and system changes Ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices Participate in change management and incident response processes Required Skills Qualifications 3 years of handson experience as a Windows System Administrator Strong knowledge of Windows Server 201620192022 Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy Experience with WSUS SCCM or other patch management tools Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting Understanding of ITIL processes and change management Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently during offhours with minimal supervision Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving Preferred Qualifications Experience in a 24x7 enterprise environment Exposure to cloud platforms Azure AWS is a plus IT certifications such as MCSA MCSE or Microsoft Certified Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Work Environment Weekend work required for scheduled patching and maintenance Collaborative and supportive global IT team
