Job Title: Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Engineer Qualification: B.E. – Civil / Mechanical Experience: 5 to 7 years Certification: ASNT Level II (for Mechanical – NDT techniques) Location: Pan India Reporting to: RCM Job Summary We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Engineer to oversee and ensure quality compliance across all stages of project execution. The candidate will be responsible for quality checks at project sites and vendor locations, as well as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), and reviewing Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs). The role also includes inspection and verification tasks in accordance with project specifications, industry codes, and client standards. Key Responsibilities Conduct and oversee quality checks at project sites to ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards. Plan and participate in FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) in coordination with vendors and clients. Review, verify, and approve QAPs, FAT and SAT procedures, inspection plans, and test reports. Visit vendor works for inspections and witness manufacturing/testing activities to ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements. Identify and report non-conformities; follow up on corrective and preventive actions. Maintain all QA/QC documentation including inspection reports, calibration records, and test certificates. Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal teams on all QA/QC matters. Ensure proper implementation of ASNT Level II NDT techniques (UT, RT, PT, MT, etc.) where applicable. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 quality management systems and relevant industry standards. Support internal and external audits and assist in documentation and closure of audit findings. Required Skills And Competencies Strong understanding of QA/QC practices in Civil and/or Mechanical engineering fields. Hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, and QAP review/approval. Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality plans. Knowledge of applicable standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, IS codes, ISO, etc.). Effective communication and reporting skills. Familiar with inspection tools, testing equipment, and NDT procedures. Willingness to travel to project sites and vendor locations as required. Preferred (but Not Mandatory) Exposure to EPC or infrastructure projects. Experience working with third-party inspection agencies or consultants. Familiarity with construction management systems or ERP tools.
