About the role
Role: Automation Engineer
Location Krakow, Poland Job Type: 6 Months contract with possible extension(Sub-con or B2B contract only)
Description:
Collaborate with key product stakeholders to understand the overall process and the actions requiring automating Design and implement performant resilient automation to address the manual aspects of the process Apply security by default secrets management least privilege vulnerability management Monitor and improve process performance optimising to not only meet the objective but provide head room to cater for unknown scenarios Automate both process and the testing of the automation to assure it works whenever it is required
Skills Required: Essential
3 years delivering Ansible based automation into Jenkins CICD pipelines Strong scripting skills Python Go Bash etc Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Fluency in written and spoken English and be comfortable working in a multi cultured global environment Working experience in Agile methodologies Ability to work independently and within a diverse team environment Strong documentation collaboration and ownership mindset
Desirable:
Experience of working with and improving IT Services underpinned by vendor software Product domain experience in one or more of
File Transmission products eg IBM SFGSSPSEASCD Mainframe zOS and job execution workflows BMC ControlM
An understanding of financial services compliance and risk management requirements
Mandatory Skills : Ansible, Automation, Bash/Shell scripting, CI/CD Architecture, Jenkins
