About the role
Platform Debug Engineer to support platform bringup validation debug and failure analysis of nextgeneration AI accelerator systems The role involves troubleshooting hardware firmware PCIe networking and systemlevel issues while collaborating with crossfunctional engineering teams Key Responsibilities Debug and validate platform hardware and firmware components Analyse PCIe Gen5 link training enumeration and connectivity issues Investigate system failures using logs telemetry Redfish and IPMI tools Support provisioning pipelines firmware updates and compliance validation Perform root cause analysis for platform stability performance and reliability issues Troubleshoot FPGA CPLD BMC BIOS GPU specific FW related issues Validate racklevel telemetry cooling systems power sequencing and sensor health Develop automation and debug tools using Python and scripting languages Collaborate with Silicon BMC Fabric and Validation teams Document findings and track issues through JIRAADO Required Skills Strong understanding of server hardware and platform architecture Experience with PCIe highspeed interconnects and firmware debugging Knowledge of Redfish IPMI Linux and hardware diagnostics Experience with log analysis root cause investigation and platform validation Scripting experience in Python Bash or PowerShell Excellent debugging troubleshooting and communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI accelerator GPU or ASICbased platforms Familiarity with FPGACPLD technologies and liquidcooled systems Knowledge of provisioning pipelines and automated validation frameworks
