About the role
Process Design Prepare manufacturing process flow charts. Develop work instructions, SOPs, PFMEA, and Control Plans. Standardize manufacturing methods. Manufacturing Support Provide technical support to production. Resolve process-related issues. Optimize line balancing and takt time. Continuous Improvement Reduce cycle time, scrap, and rework. Improve productivity through Kaizen initiatives. Conduct root cause analysis using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone techniques. Equipment & Process Validation Support installation and commissioning of new equipment. Conduct process capability studies. Validate process changes. Automation Support Work with automation teams to improve robotic assembly, conveyors, vision systems, and servo-driven equipment. Support PLC and HMI integration during process improvements. Documentation Maintain process documentation. Update ECNs and engineering records. Prepare engineering reports and process KPIs. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Cycle Time Reduction OEE Improvement FPY Improvement Scrap Reduction Process Capability Engineering Change Closure Line Downtime Reduction Preferred candidate profile Candidate with following skills are preferred PFMEA Control Plans Lean Manufacturing Time Study & Line Balancing Root Cause Analysis Statistical Process Control (SPC) APQP
