As an Automation Test Engineer at Lumel, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our web applications through automated testing. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications. - Collaborating with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. - Executing automated and manual test cases to ensure product quality. - Identifying, logging, and tracking defects using defect management tools. - Participating in code reviews and contributing to automation framework improvements. - Performing regression, functional, integration, and system testing. - Ensuring test coverage and maintaining test documentation. - Working in Agile/Scrum teams and participating in sprint ceremonies. To excel in this role, you should have: - 24 years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation. - Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver. - Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript. - Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or Mocha. - Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. - Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. - Experience in version control systems like Git. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Additionally, the following qualifications are preferred: - Knowledge of performance testing tools. - Exposure to cloud platforms, specifically Azure. - Basic understanding of database testing involving SQL queries. - Experience in BI/Data Analytics testing is a plus.
