About the role
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading and orchestrating end-to-end product development initiatives for our SaaS offerings. Your responsibilities will include leveraging deep technical knowledge, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership to manage complex programs, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions. Here is an overview of what you can expect in this role: - Value Stream Governance: - Actively support and enhance value stream delivery in partnership with fellow Technical Program Managers and Program Leads. - Facilitate value stream ceremonies, drive lean process improvements, and support flow efficiency initiatives to maximize throughput and customer value delivery. - Program Execution & Governance: - Lead the full lifecycle of technical programs from inception through deployment. - Utilize Agile, Scrum, and/or SAFe methodologies as appropriate to ensure successful delivery. - Technical Program Leadership: - Apply sound understanding of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, and system integration principles to influence technical design decisions. - Align technical execution with product strategy and engineering best practices. - Metrics-Driven Management: - Own the collection, analysis, and communication of key performance indicators. - Maintain comprehensive project documentation including roadmaps, sprint plans, retrospectives, and stakeholder communications. - Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration: - Serve as a strategic liaison among various teams to ensure a shared understanding of objectives, deliverables, and timelines. - Resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and align teams toward shared goals. - Issue Resolution & Root Cause Analysis: - Proactively identify executional bottlenecks, technical blockers, and systemic risks. - Drive cross-team problem-solving efforts to develop sustainable solutions. - Continuous Improvement: - Champion process optimization initiatives through retrospectives and Kaizen practices. - Promote adoption of Agile/Lean best practices to enhance team performance, velocity, and product quality. In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the following qualifications are required for this role: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline; equivalent hands-on training from coding bootcamps or technical certifications will also be considered. - Solid experience working with distributed microservices architectures and event-driven systems, particularly within CRM platforms. - 24 years of hands-on experience in the software industry in a technical capacity with practical knowledge of Agile frameworks. - Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities. - Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Demonstrated proficiency in managing concurrent projects or workstreams. - Self-motivated, adaptive, and eager to continuously expand technical and domain expertise in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
