About the role
We are looking for an experienced Director Software Engineering to lead multiple engineering teams, drive software delivery excellence, and establish engineering best practices. The role involves managing large-scale technology programs, collaborating with business stakeholders, and leading digital transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities 15–20 years of experience in Software Engineering, Software Development. 5+ years in an engineering leadership/people/ Vendor management role. Strong experience with SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and Software Architecture. Expertise in C#, .NET Core, Microservices,Java, Python, Azure, AWS, GCP, GenAI, and modern Scalable application development. Hands-on software development background with demonstrated leadership in building and scaling engineering teams- 80-120 members. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Healthcare domain is preferred.
