About the role
We are looking for SQL DBA, who will be responsible for Perform regular database maintenance activities by following internal processes (data loads, data fixes, schema updates, database copies, software installs, upgrades and patches). Running daily database checks. Assist with the automation of regular database support activities. Responsibilities Strong knowledge of SQL Server architecture, database design, and administration. Expertise in T-SQL for writing and debugging scripts, stored procedures, and triggers. Proficiency in database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Experience with high availability and disaster recovery setups, including Always On and failover clustering. Familiarity with backup and recovery tools and strategies. Knowledge of security protocols and compliance frameworks for database systems. Experience with cloud-based SQL services (Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS). Exposure to monitoring tools like Redgate, SolarWinds DPA, or SQL Sentry. Understanding of DevOps practices and database automation tools. Knowledge of SSIS, SSRS, and Power BI for ETL and reporting tasks. Experience with other Databases - MySQL, MongoDB etc. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience managing SQL Server databases
