About the role
As a QA Automation Engineer at MantraCare, located in Paschim Vihar, Delhi, your primary responsibility will be to execute and scale test automation across UI, API, and end-to-end workflows. You will play a crucial role in owning test quality, enforcing stability in releases, and ensuring that every deployment meets defined quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement E2E test suites using Playwright or Cypress for critical user journeys - Collaborate with developers to improve unit and integration test coverage (Jest/Vitest) - Build and maintain automated regression test suites for existing and new features - Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines to ensure clean, reliable builds for every PR - Identify high-risk areas and prioritize automation based on impact - Maintain structured test plans and technical documentation - Debug issues using browser dev tools, logs, and network tracing Qualifications Required: - Strong foundation in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript - Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer (projects/internships acceptable) - Unit testing using Jest, Vitest, or Mocha - API testing using Postman, Supertest, or similar tools - Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab) and CI/CD workflows - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Additional Details: - Exposure to Docker or containerized environments is a plus - Knowledge of automation patterns (POM, data-driven testing) - Understanding of Agile development practices If you are a fresher with relevant projects/internships in QA/Automation or have up to 3 years of experience in QA or test automation, and are willing to work onsite in Paschim Vihar, Delhi, we encourage you to apply for this role at MantraCare.
