SAP Basis Administrator (S/4HANA)

The client is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to manage and support our SAP S/4HANA landscape . This role is critical in ensuring system stability, performance optimization, and seamless technical operations across the SAP environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP HANA database administration, system upgrades, and performance tuning , along with hands-on experience in managing enterprise SAP landscapes. Key Responsibilities Provide end-to-end technical support for SAP landscapes (S/4HANA) Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems and environments Monitor and optimize system performance, availability, and reliability Manage SAP HANA database activities including backups, restores, patching, and tuning Perform system upgrades, kernel updates, and patches Maintain and manage SSL certificates and system security components Handle transport management and change control processes (ChaRM) Collaborate with implementation partners and internal stakeholders Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, incidents, and performance bottlenecks Prepare and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and system procedures Key Requirements Bachelor s degree in Computer Science / IT or related field 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA architecture and administration Hands-on expertise in SAP HANA database management Experience with SAP Solution Manager and ChaRM (Change Request Management) Exposure to Fiori administration and system integration Experience working with SAP implementation partners Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills Good communication and stakeholder management abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills (Good to Have) SAP Certification: SAP S/4HANA System Administration Experience in system migrations / upgrades (ECC to S/4HANA) Knowledge of high availability / disaster recovery setups Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / SAP RISE) Key Skills : Sap Abap Sap S4hana Disclaimer : This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
